1 Hotel San Francisco, the new urban oasis, references the natural splendor of the Bay Area with a palette of earth tones, raw materials, and layered textures. Native greenery, exposed brick, warm terracotta accents, and rustic stone further reinforce the influence of nature alongside hand-loomed rugs and carpeting crafted from organic plant fibers and recyclable wool. Located on the Embarcadero across from San Francisco Bay, the property draws upon the rich history of the city through a sustainable design concept conceived by the in-house team at SH Hotels & Resorts and NICOLEHOLLIS. SH also partnered with Dawson Design Associates on the hotel’s 186 guestrooms and 14 suites.
