to charge only $40 per vision exam (the amount of your examination co-pay
plus the benefit) and to substantially discount the cost of the lenses
ad frames so your benefits will cover as much as possible. In addition,
they have agreed to bill the administrator direct for the amount of the
benefit. |

to? |
|
Yes |
|
No |
Yes, if you have a problem that cannot be resolved by
working with the administrator, your sponsor's agent can appeal directly
to the insurance company. Most other plans have no one else to appeal
to. |
| Can I be assured of receiving a quality product? |
|
Yes |
|
No |
When using a participation vision center you are working
with a provider who has been selected by the vision discount network
through a careful screening process. All providers recognize the importance
of providing a quality product to their customers. Not only are you free
to choose whatever lens or frame you want, but your vision center works
on carrying hight quality product. If a lens is made wrong, they won't
hesitate to return it to the lab to be corrected. All too often, vision
plans are controlled through a series of lab and providers whose focus
is on filling your eye wear need in the cheapest manner possible. Slight
imperfections in the grinding of the lenses or inferior quality frames
are all too often accepted as business as usual by other vision plans. |
